Rakeback Bonus

Players choose from a list of rakeback bonuses ranging from $50 to $2500 which are redeemable by earning Betfair Player Points (explained below).

Betfair Player Points

Player Points are earned by all players simply by playing real money in cash games and tournaments.

For cash games, Player Points are awarded based on the rake that is contributed to each pot. 3.25 Player Points are awarded for every dollar contributed in rake.

For tournaments, five Player Points will be awarded for every dollar in rake. For example: by participating in a $5+0.50 tournament a player will receive 2.5 Player Points. Please note that Player Points are awarded when the tournament finishes and the winner has been declared.

Rake

Rake at Betfair Poker meets the industry standard and is never more than 5% of the pot and in any cash game the maximum rake taken is $3. Maximum rake taken on heads-up is $betfair Poker do not charge rake if there is no flop seen.

Tournament fees have a cap of $10 which is great for high stakes players and is never more than 10% of the tournament buy-in depending on tournament structure/stakes

Tournaments

Betfair Poker hosts over $12,000,000 in guaranteed tournament prize pools every month, the largest tournament prize at the time of writing this is the ChampionChip $200,000 tournament which is run every Sunday at 18:00 Central European Time. There is also a nice selection of regular daily tournaments with prizes ranging up to $40,000. As Betfair does not accept US players, most of the tournament traffic are European based.
